Fusion of Hearts

This Privacy Policy applies to all Fusion of Hearts-branded websites, apps, events, and other services. In this Privacy Policy, we refer to all of these as "services" for clarity. We've included links to this Privacy Policy on all related services to make it more clearer. Some services could have their own privacy policies. If a service has its own privacy policy, its policy takes precedence over our Privacy Policy.

Without some information about you, such as basic profile facts and the sorts of individuals you'd like to meet, we can't help you make significant connections. We also collect information regarding your use of our services, such as access logs, and information from third parties, such as when you use your social media account to access our services or when you upload information from your social media account to complete your profile. We go into further depth below if you want more information.

You provide us with information

When you use our services, you have the option of providing us with specific information. This comprises:

When you establish an account, you must give us with at least your login credentials and/or phone number, as well as other basic information such as your gender and date of birth that is required for the service to function.

When you finish your profile, you may add more data about yourself, such as your personality, lifestyle, interests, and other personal information, as well as multimedia like images or audio snippets. You may provide us access to your camera or photo album in order to contribute particular items, such as images.

You give us or our payment service provider information like your debit or credit card number or other financial information when you subscribe to a paid service or make a purchase directly from us (rather than through a platform like iOS or Android).

You provide us your insights about our goods and services, comments to our questions, and testimonials when you engage in surveys, focus groups, or market studies.

We gather the information you use to register or enter our promotions, events, and competitions when you choose to participate.

We gather the information you give us during the interaction whenever you contact us (for example, through our customer service team or on social media).

We process information about other individuals on your behalf in order to execute your request if you share information about other people with us (for example, if you utilize a friend's contact information for a certain function).

Naturally, we handle your discussions with other users, as well as the information you submit, in order to keep the services running.

We get information from others.

We acquire information about you from a variety of sources in addition to what you supply directly to us, such as:

Users may disclose information about you when they engage with you or submit a report regarding you while using our services.

Social Networking

You may choose to share information with us via your social media account, for example, if you create and log into your Fusion of Hearts account using a social media or other account (e.g., Facebook, Google, or Apple), or if you upload information such as photos from one of your social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Instagram...).

Other Collaborators

When Fusion of Hearts advertisements are published on a partner's service (in which case they may send along details on a campaign's success), we may acquire information about you from them. As part of our efforts to guarantee the safety and security of our users, we can also obtain information about suspected or convicted criminal actors from third parties when legally permitted.

When you use our services, we collect information about you.

When you use our services, we collect technical information about the features you use, how you use them, and the devices you use to access them. For further information, see the following:

Information on Use

Using the services generates data about your interactions with other users and how you use them (e.g., when you logged in, features you've been using, actions taken, information shown to you, referring webpages address and ads that you interacted with) (e.g., users you connect and interact with, when you exchanged with them, number of messages you send and receive).

Device Specifications

We collect information from and about the device(s) you use to access our services, such as IP address, device ID and type, app settings and characteristics, app crashes, advertising IDs (randomly generated numbers that you can reset by going into your device' settings), and identifiers associated with cookies or other technologies that may uniquely identify a device or browser.

Other information obtained with your permission

We can gather your specific geolocation if you grant us permission (latitude and longitude). If the authorization you provided us specifically authorizes it, we may gather your geolocation in the background even while you aren't using the services. We will not gather your specific geolocation if you refuse to give us permission. We may also gather images and videos with your permission (for instance, if you want to publish a photo or video or participate in streaming features on our services).

Cookies and related technologies (e.g., web beacons, pixels, and SDKs) are used by us and/or others to recognize you and/or your device (s). For more information on why we use cookies and how you may better manage their usage, please see our Cookie Policy.

A "Do Not Track" ("DNT") function in several web browsers (including Safari, Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome) informs websites that a user does not want his or her online activities recorded. When a website replies to a DNT signal, the browser can prevent the website from collecting specific information about the browser's user. DNT is not available in all browsers, and DNT signals are not yet consistent. As a result, many companies, including Fusion of Hearts, are now unresponsive to DNT signals.

The information exchange outlined in Section 6 [Deep link] includes cross-border data transfers to the United States of America and other countries with distinct data processing regulations. We use standard contractual clauses (commitments between companies transferring personal data that bind them to protect the privacy and security of your data) or other appropriate transfer mechanisms when transferring personal information outside of the EEA, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or other countries whose data protection laws have been deemed adequate by the European Commission or other competent governmental body. Following the recent Court of Justice for the European Union judgement on personal data transfers to the United States, we are now assessing transfers to our suppliers and the corresponding legal basis.

We want you to have control over your data, therefore we'd like to remind you of the following options and tools:

Access and update the service's tools. Tools and account settings allow you to easily view, correct, or delete information that you supplied to us and is connected with your account. Please contact our customer service staff for assistance if you have any questions about those tools and settings.

Permissions for devices. Permission systems for certain sorts of device data and alerts, such as phone contacts, photographs, location services, push notifications, and advertising identifiers, can be implemented on mobile platforms. You can alter your device's settings to either agree or object to the collection, processing, or display of the associated information or notifications. Of course, doing so may result in the loss of functionality for some services.

Uninstall. You may stop an app from collecting data by deleting it using your device's usual uninstall method. Keep in mind that deleting an app does not mean your account is closed. Please utilize the service's appropriate mechanism to cancel your account.

Account termination. You can close your account directly on the service by utilizing the appropriate feature.

You should also be informed of your privacy rights. Here are some crucial considerations to keep in mind:

You may have the right under applicable privacy laws to inspect the personal information we hold on you (depending on the jurisdiction, this may be called right of access, right of portability, right to know or variations of those terms). This privilege can be exercised by submitting a request here.

Keeping your data current. If you feel the information we have on you is incorrect or that we no longer have the right to use it, please contact us here to seek its rectification, deletion, objection, or restriction.

Before we can respond to the aforementioned requests, we may require you to produce evidence of identification for your protection and the protection of all of our users.

Remember that we have the right to refuse requests if we are unable to verify you, if the request is unlawful or invalid, or if it may infringe on trade secrets, intellectual property, or the privacy or other rights of others. If you want to get information about another user, such as a copy of any messages they sent you over our service, the other user must contact us and submit a separate request for their information. We may also want evidence of identification before responding to the inquiry.

Also, we may not be able to comply with some requests to object to or restrict the processing of personal data, particularly if doing so would prevent us from providing our service to you. For example, we cannot provide our service unless we have your date of birth and can verify that you are at least 18 years old.

If you have concerns about how we treat your personal information in some countries, including the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, you have the right to file a complaint with the applicable data protection authorities. In the European Economic Area, you can find information on your data protection regulator here, and in the United Kingdom, you can find it here. You can file a complaint with the data protection authority in your usual residence, where you work, or where an alleged violation occurred.

We only store your personal information for as long as we require it for legitimate business purposes (as outlined in Section 5) and as long as the law allows. You can deactivate your account and your profile will no longer be accessible to other users if you decide to stop using our services. We will destroy your personal information when your account is cancelled, as detailed below:

We establish a three-month safety retention window following account cancellation to ensure our users' safety and security. During this time, we will retain your information on file in case we need to investigate illegal or harmful behavior. The preservation of information within this safety retention window is justified by both our legitimate interests and the reasonable interests of possible third-party victims.

We remove your data when the safety retention window expires, and only store restricted information for the following purposes:

We store limited data to meet legal data retention responsibilities, such as keeping transaction data for ten years to meet tax and accounting regulatory requirements. To comply with legal data retention responsibilities, we may need to preserve "traffic data" / logs for a year. We also preserve records of consents users provide us for five years to show that we are following the law.

On the basis of our legitimate interest, we keep limited information: we keep customer care records and supporting data, as well as the approximate location of download/purchase, to support our customer care decisions, enforce our rights, and enable us to defend ourselves in the event of a claim, profile data in anticipation of potential litigation, for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, and data necessary to prevent users who were banned or people who wer

Finally, when there is an ongoing or potential issue, claim, or dispute that requires us to keep information (for example, if we receive a valid legal subpoena or request asking us to preserve data (in which case we would need to keep the data to comply with our legal obligations) or if data would otherwise be necessary as part of legal proceedings), we do so on the basis of our legitimate interest.

Our services are only available to people who are at least 18 years old. Individuals under the age of 18 are not permitted to use our platform. If you believe a user is under the age of 18, please report them using the service's reporting method.

As part of our recruiting and talent management activities, as well as our administration of the services that contractors and vendors deliver to us, we process the personal information of job seekers, contractors, and vendor representatives. Certain relevant terms of this Privacy Policy apply to our processing of your personal information if you are a job candidate, contractor, or vendor representative of Fusion of Hearts, including the sections of this Privacy Policy that discuss the entity responsible for processing your personal information, transfers of personal information, rights you may have under applicable law, how to contact us, and California-specific information.

If you are a job applicant, the personal information we process about you varies depending on the job you are seeking, but it typically includes what you provide as part of your job application, as well as professional qualifications, background, and reference information that recruiters or other third parties share with us. We utilize this data to help with the recruiting process, which might lead to a job offer. We may process identification information and work-related information about contractors and vendor representatives as needed to manage our relationship with you and your employer, which is required for the performance of the services agreement, and to establish, exercise, or defend potential legal claims.

This policy may change over time because we're always looking for new and innovative ways to help you make meaningful connections and strive to keep explanations about our data practices up to date. Before any material changes take effect, we will notify you so that you can review them.
